Volunteers are an essential part of our organization. They assist to provide essential services and support and help reduce operational costs to allow Friends of Calaveras Animal Services to serve more animals and achieve our goals.

What volunteer positions are available?
Volunteers are needed for rabies and vaccine clinics, fundraising booths, and drivers for the Return to Fields program to escort cats between Calaveras Animal Services and a Veterinarian.
How much time per week will I need to commit?
The time you spend volunteering is up to you. All your efforts are appreciated. Rabies Clinics and Fundraising booths might involve a few hours for one or two days a month, but driving for the Return to Fields program may require less of a time committment. Share with us your availability and we can match you to the right volunteer opportunity.

Will I incur costs if I volunteer?
No, your time is precious and invaluable. We do not expect you to incur personal costs. Drivers are reimbursed for ther fuel.
